<b>Description: </b><br/>The <b>Algorithm</b> is the algorithm, formula or model which is used by a <b>DataProcess</b> to compose a new <b>DataSet</b> based on one or more already available <b>DataSet</b> s. An <b>Algorithm</b> kan also be used to perform a <b>ParameterFit</b> on one or more DataSet's. <br/><br/><b>Remark:</b><br/>The algorithm can be a public known algorithm, which can be referred to by the object <b>Reference</b>, but it might also be a proprietary way of calculating which is not publicly specified. In the latter case it is the obligation of the data provider to indicate by the <b>AlgorithmId</b> or <b>Version</b> when there are differences in the procedures used. <br/><br/><b>Example.</b><br/>An example of an <b>Algorithm</b> used for parameter fitting is "Linear Regression".<br/>An example of an <b>Algorithm</b> used for DataProcessing is "WDVI" with a reference to Clevers (1988, 1989).<br/>
