<b>Definition.</b><br/>The type of item/object which is identified.<br/><br/><b>Remark.</b><br/>In the case of crop production the three character acronym is used of the class in drmCrop to which the object belongs.<br/>The Excel sheet Acronyms.xlsx contains those acronyms. <br/><br/><b>Remark.</b><br/>Acronyms are, where available, obtained from the corresponding elements in ISO11783-10. This explains why the acronym not always corresponds with the expression used for the class in drmCrop.<br/><br/><b>Remark.</b><br/>The type of item is in some cases defined by the IssuingAgency, like AGRONL or GS1. In other cases like models of equipment or (spare)parts, they are defined by the Enterprise.<br/>
