A Field stops to exist when when the borders of the field change. Discussion. Definition. The global unique identifier to identify the Plot. Remarks. 1) The PlotGUID of a Plot is given by the farm enterprise that has the rights to use that field, generally over a longer period as owner or long term rent contract. The PlotGUID of an ActivityField and a CropField is given by the farm enterprise that actually uses the field during that growing season. 2) The PlotGUID is unique over all the years. This means that an ActivityField and a CropField will be assigned a new GUID, even when it occupies exactly the same surface as the season before. 3) A PlotGUID is unique worldwide. See the definition of the GlobalUniqueIdentifierType.
